My Approach

Within Psychology Practice is built on over ten years of clinical experience – across the NHS, holistic settings in Southeast Asia, and an on-going personal commitment to the inner work I invite my clients to do.

I offer therapy with adults and young people (12+), including LGBTQ+ clients and anyone who has felt marginalised or like an outsider.  My approach is inclusive, affirming and shaped by clinical experience and personal values.

I use a range of therapies – EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Compassion Focused Therapy and CBT – alongside ACT informed principles including mindfulness and values-based work.  The approach we use together will be guided by what you bring, your needs and what you’d like to change.

I am registered with the HCPC and committed to on-gong post doctoral training to meet complex needs with the highest standard of care.  Whilst diagnostic labels can be useful for some, distress is personal and doesn’t necessarily fit into categories.

My Story & Inspiration

I know what it feels like to lose yourself.

For a time, I poured energy into perfectionism, distraction and people pleasing – staying busy enough not to have to turn within.

Personal crisis became my turning point.  With help, I began to turn towards what was there – gradually reconnecting with my own WAVES.  That journey continues.

When we turn within – with support – something begins to shift.  You may find yourself feeling more at peace, less pulled by what others think, more able to express your needs and hold your boundaries.  Creative parts of you that went quiet begin to stir.  You dwell less on the past.  You find more compassion for yourself and others – and more confidence to re-connect with the world around you.

A more open, grounded and fully lived version of yourself becomes possible.

That possibility exists in you too.

Working Together

Therapy with me is collaborative, personalised and paced by you. There is no fixed template – we work together, check in regularly and adjust as we go.

I hold a particular interest in helping people who carry shame, struggle with self-acceptance, or feel disconnected from themselves and others.  Whether you’re navigating the aftermath of trauma, long-standing patterns that keep you stuck, or a quiet sense that life could be more fully lived – therapy here offers a space to heal.
